Jacksonport is a 100 acre development in north east Calgary. This development is located between 36 Street north east and Métis Trail at Country Hills Boulevard and is directly east of the Calgary International Airport Runway expansion.
100 acres are currently under development at this site that will house 1,000,000 ft2 of industrial development and 200,000 ft2 of retail property. Current tenants include Public Storage, Dairy Queen, Mac’s Convenience Store and Olympia Liquor.
In keeping with SDC’s belief in healthy communities and environmental stewardship, a first of its kind wetland complex has been constructed surrounding native wetland areas. A system of convenience bio swales treats all site storm water and directs it to the central wetland complex, keeping the natural area seasonally fed with clean water.
